- Some safety tips for using LPG.
- Always store LPG cylinders upright and away from heat sources.
- Never use LPG indoors or in enclosed spaces, such as garages, tents, or caravans.
- Check the expiry date of your LPG hose and regulator and replace them if they are damaged or worn out.
- Turn off the gas valve when not in use and disconnect the hose from the cylinder.
- Use a gas leak detector or soapy water to check for leaks before lighting your appliance.
- If you smell gas, turn off the gas valve, extinguish any flames and move away from the area. Call GA Energy for assistance.
